Great therapies and drugs are truly great if they are delivered properly
Direct-to-Cell Delivery Solutions
The Challenge
Intracellular biomolecule and drug delivery via nanocarriers is one of the most promising and powerful tools in therapeutic life science industry. Therefore, due to high interest, many different technologies, from physical, organic, inorganic up to viral systems have been established. The requirements which all these technologies must cover is high: Cellular uptake should be highly efficient and non-toxic in vitro and in vivo. They should have high loading capacity of the respective cargo and applicable for many types of cargos. In addition, they should cover a high range of different cell types and organs, for the latter, targeted delivery is of prominent importance. Finally, production should be robust, consistent and of low cost.
As a matter of fact, none of the technologies available today can cover all these aspects in a satisfying manner. There is high demand to fix this technology gap.
Nanocapsule
CapCo Bio´s Nanocapsules are the state-of-the-art nanocarriers platform for safe, efficient, and intracellular drug and gene delivery. It works as a 100% biodegradable and synthetic biomimetic, providing 100% control of the nanocapsules shell composition. This guarantees full control on its features and enables CapCo Bio to develop and offer a plethora of solutions in life sciences. The range comprises simple transfection up to challenging techniques, including theragnostic, nanomedicine, as well as cell and gene therapy.

CapCo Bio Nanocapsules consist of several layers of biocompatible polymers. As the production of the Nanocapsules is synthetic, depending on the application, capsule size and the type of the polymers can be altered.
Many types of biomolecules (nucleic acids, peptides, proteins, dyes, small molecules, antibodies, etc.) can be included as cargo within the Nanocapsules, to be ready to be transported into living cells.
Since the characteristics of the Nanocapsules are like natural Extracellular Vesicles (EVs), the uptake occurs via natural routes into living cells and therefore is highly efficient. This allows that low input of the introduced cargo is enough to do its particular job within the cell.
The Nanocapsules possess a biodegradable polymer shell, which allows a natural degradation process after cellular uptake, and provide release of the cargo to the cell.
Suitable for a variety of compounds, including proteins, nucleic acids, peptides, and small molecules.
